Raya gathering

I was at raya gathering for my dept today. All I can say is they are so square I meant good. No yellow jokes, no gossiping & you girls will be proud of me as I only eat once.(nobody eat much!!!). Even dry jokes are missing here. Now I know whta is goody-2 shoes really meant.

Dull morning

Today is quite monotonous. 1 student promised to see me today but did not turn up.
I'm still fastinf today. Today is the last of my puasa ganti. I do not know if I can make it for the puasa 6. Hope I do not succumb to temptation & end my fast today. As per right now, my tummy is dancing Samba....

End of Convo

Well, Yesterday which was Monday, was the last of Convo days. You can see many proud parents usherring their children around campus, taking photos at the most outrageous places. ( was I like that?)

It is good to know that about 65% of the kids who graduated during the last convo(march) are alredy employed.Now, the new kids will be facing the reality of life(working, notworking etc.

Actually waht piss me off was that my seminar 20 - 22 Oct) was cancelled because of the convo. The best part is that the secretariat did not inform me and I have already reached the venue only to be told that it was postponed to next week.
I have to returened home to get my laptop and to go back to the offfice. I was so frustated as I was really set to attend to seminar. I went to Jitra, bought myself a blouse, when for lunch then I go to he office. ha!ha!ha!

New Background

I was trying to find a new background for my blog and I found this. It sort of resembles Kedah with the padi fields and endless view of the clear blue sky.

For you info, tomorrow will be my last quiz for my class and I am free. No more class until next year!!!
Now I really have to concentrate on my application to the universities, my GRE test and the never ending proposal.

Recently i have an affinity with blue(as you can see in my baju raya for my family. I used to hate blue.

Is it a sign that I'm changing my preference........

Hai friends!!
Sorry to have been 'sleeping' for so long.
First & formost I would like to take this opportunity to wish Selamat Hari Raya to all who celebrate this event.

I was in Kelantan for 1 week. Never had such a long leave for raya berfore. It was really quite enlightening. The children and especially my Kelantanese husband wes realy a tiring oops happy occasion.(That's the only husband that I have he.he)

To all my friends I nak mint maaf and hope that we could always keep in touch always.
