Well, now is Intersession( between spring and summer) and I have a statistic class( multiple regression). The best thing about the class is the Professor, who is nice to look at. Though I donot understand what he is teaching, its a bliss to be in class. He is one of he top 5 statistic professor in the US. I believe that he thinks statistic is easy and evryone knows that "mean square residue is just the square of standard deviation" Duh!!. I hope I can thru this class. It seems like we are talking in two different language in class, but I think I just focus on the body language!! he..he..
I'm gonna tell you about my so called job. Actually, the department has some funds so they want to give it to the professors to do their research. So, I attached to this professor, who is not bad looking with baby blue eyes. Actually, I working with him and we are going to make a paper, hopefully to get it publish. SO my job is to read journals, and discuss with him and then write a paper. I think it is very good for me to have the experience of working with a professor and learn how to come up with publishable papers.( with or without the pay).
Another news that I want to tell you girls is not a good one but I hope something good can come from it.
About a month ago,( during the busy period) I had this knee pain and I went to the health centre. After doing the X-ray, they found out that I had the beginning of arthritis. After doing blood test, they diagnosed me with Type II Diabetes! I was shocked as I don't have a history of diabetes( in my family). Maybe for the last 8 months, I've been taking too much soda's, snacks , especially at night, and no time for exercise. We'll, that's the beginning of a series of blood, test, urine test, eye exam & many others. They told me that in order to control a Type II Diabetes, I have too reduce weight. That starts the begining of visits to the Dietician( amidst my busy schedule). At first I was very upset, then I just have to accept it n learn to live with it. I really miss the snacking at night as that's my comfort. The dietician is really helpful. he teach me how to manage my food and I learn how to apportion my food.
We'll, I've manage to loos a few pounds & now I do walks everyday, as I can't do jumping & running due to my knee pain. I have to take the lift to my class as the doctor does'nt want me to take the lift for the time being( It's wierd to take lift here-only for invalid).
I did a reflection on all the things that had happened, & i accept it just as a 'dugaan' for my PhD journey. Pray for me.

Take care of your health. Be happy. Always wish you all the best. It is spring / summer - enjoy the beautiful flowers and weather. If it is any comfort to you, dont we all have to lose some weight anyway?
thanks azah, It's a never ending battle, especially for women.
I have to agree with Azah. Take good care of yourself.
